Regosolic soils cover about 73 000 km2 (0.8%) of Canada's land area.
Information
These soils are too weakly developed to meet the limits of any other order. The absence or weak development of genetic horizons may result from a lack of time for development or from instability of materials. The properties of Regosolic soils are essentially those of the parent material. Two great groups are defined.
Uses
These soils don't have many uses, because they are weakly developed
